Adopt a resolution adopting Redwood City's updated Water Shortage <br />Contingency Plan and Water Conservation Program and authorizing the Public <br />Works Services Director to compile and submit the updated Water Shortage <br />Contingency Plan as part of the City’s 2025 Urban Water Management Plan to <br />the State of California Department of Water Resources prior to July 1, 2026. <br />The motion passed unanimously by electronic vote. <br /> <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Pursuant to Section 10652 of the California Water Code (Division 6), the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) does not apply to the preparation, <br />adoption, or implementation of the UWMP or the WSCP, which is prepared as <br />part of the City’s UWMP; they are statutorily exempt from CEQA. Additionally, <br />these actions are categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15307 because it is an action authorized by state or local ordinance to <br />assure the maintenance of a natural resource. <br /> <br />9. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br /> 9.A.
