REV: 06-18-26 VR <br />a) Incorporate 60% Design Submittal review comments from, but not limited to, the <br />City and its on‑call SCADA consultant to ensure consistency with the City’s overall <br />SCADA system. <br />b) Prepare for review and approval by City Engineer or their designee, 90% Design <br />Submittal consisting of complete construction documents including drawings, <br />specifications and cost estimates. The submittal shall also include, but not limited <br />to, site grading plan, cross-section details, structural details, complete technical <br />specifications, estimate of construction cost, electrical details, civil details, <br />structural details, mechanical details, and any catalogue cuts for any special <br />material proposed for use in the project. <br />c) Coordinate with City's on-call SCADA consultant, for the 90% design of the PLC <br />unit and control system programming. <br />Deliverables: <br />Final Basis of Design Report Memorandum – Microsoft Word (.docx) <br />Ninety percent (90%) Plans – AutoCAD (.dwg) <br />Specifications – Microsoft Word (.docx) <br />Draft Engineer’s Cost Estimate - Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) <br />Additionally, a copy of the above items in PDF format <br />All City comments and/or request for clarifications must be answered and incorporated <br />into the design submittal prior to Task 5. <br />TASK 5 - FINAL DESIGN (100% DESIGN SUBMITTAL) <br />With the City Engineer’s approval, the Consultant shall proceed with the Final Design. <br />Specific tasks in this phase include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />a) Incorporate 90% Design Submittal review comments. Create a response matrix <br />to summarize comments and resolutions. <br />b) Prepare 100% Design Submittal consisting of complete construction <br />documents including drawings, specifications and cost estimates. <br />c) The 100% Design Submittal shall be ready for signature and submitted to the <br />City for review and approval by the City Engineer or their designee. A marked <br />set will be returned along with staff's comments and/or request for clarifications <br />for revision. <br />Deliverables: <br />One hundred percent (100%) Plans – AutoCAD (.dwg) <br />One hundred percent (100%) Specifications – Microsoft Word (.docx) <br />Final Engineer’s Cost Estimate for Bid Purposes – Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) <br />Additionally, a copy of the above items in PDF format <br />A.2 – COMPENSATION TERMS <br />The City will pay to Consultant a not-to-exceed amount of Six Hundred Fifty‑Seven <br />Thousand Ninety‑Five Dollars ($657,095) for the completion of all the work and services <br />described herein, which sum will include all costs or expenses incurred by Consultant, <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.153/Schaaf & Wheeler (Carson Potable Water Pump Station Replacement Proj) (Page 13 of 16)
