REV: 06-18-26 VR <br />Deliverables: <br />Topographic base mapping – AutoCAD (.dwg) <br />Site investigation reports – Microsoft Word (.docx) <br />Additionally, a copy of the above items in PDF format <br />TASK 3 - 60% DESIGN SUBMITTAL (INCLUDING BASIS OF DESIGN) <br />This initial design will be used as the basis for the development of Final Design. The <br />tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />a) Review the maps and background information provided. Conduct a site visit to <br />assess the condition and provide recommendations. <br />b) Prepare for review by City a Basis of Design Report Memorandum and 60% <br />complete construction drawings consisting of plan views, profiles, cross- <br />sections, construction notes, detailing of major components, utility connection <br />points, specifications, construction cost estimates, construction schedule and <br />other documents, including but not limited to, details, catalog cutsheets, <br />product literature for all products, and engineering calculations. <br />c) Contact tentative suppliers and contractors. Coordinate meetings and <br />interviews to ensure materials availability and constructability of the design. <br />d) Develop 60% Design Submittal which shall include, but not limited to, site <br />grading, general and construction notes, pipe connection details, construction <br />details and sections, technical specifications, possible staging areas, and <br />estimate of construction costs. The design calculations and analysis should <br />include all engineering calculations, any technical data, maintenance <br />considerations and cut sheets for any special equipment. <br />e) Contact utilities agencies and coordinate relocation, if necessary. Show utilities <br />on drawings. <br />f) Evaluate whether existing PG&E service and pull boxes are adequate for the <br />improvements. If not, coordinate with PG&E for installation of electrical service <br />modifications. Submit documents for service application, if needed. <br />Deliverables: <br />Draft Basis of Design Report Memorandum – Microsoft Word (.docx) <br />Sixty percent (60%) Plans – AutoCAD (.dwg) <br />Specifications – Microsoft Word (.docx) <br />Engineer’s Cost Estimate – Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) <br />Additionally, a copy of the above items in PDF format <br />One virtual meeting shall be scheduled with City staff after reviewing the 60% submittal <br />prior to proceeding with the 90% Design Submittal. <br />TASK 4 - 90% DESIGN SUBMITTAL <br />With the City Engineer or their designee’s approval, the Consultant shall proceed with the <br />90% Design Submittal.
