REV: 07-07-26 MI <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall perform the following services (“Services”) for the City's Server Room <br />Discovery, Conceptual Design, and ROM engagement. <br />1.1 Discovery, Programming, and Conceptual Design <br />1. Assign a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead Server Room design and <br />planning efforts. <br />2. Provide expert counsel on technology infrastructure design questions. Advise the <br />City and the design team on best practices for implementation based on the City’s <br />strategic vision and goals. <br />3. Conduct interviews with City IT and Facilities staff to review goals and equipment <br />projections. Conduct site surveys and document existing conditions including <br />infrastructure, room layouts, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing <br />(MEP) systems. Conduct two (2) on-site existing conditions visits during normal <br />business hours. <br />4. Review existing City standards and as-built documentation available. <br />5. Receive and review infrastructure asset inventory for the Server Room, including <br />racks, cabinets, network switches, servers, UPS systems, and mechanical <br />systems. <br />6. Work with the City to determine electrical and mechanical load projections. <br />7. Review existing fire control systems serving the Server Room. Research fire <br />monitoring and suppression options. <br />8. Develop requirements and provide a design overview addressing the following <br />systems and elements: <br />o Space Planning for interior and exterior equipment <br />o Conceptual Rack Layout <br />o Electrical Distribution <br />o Mechanical and Airflow <br />o Redundancy <br />o Low Voltage Cabling <br />o Fire/Safety Systems <br />o Monitoring and Notification Systems <br />o Commissioning <br />9. Create a Basis of Design (BOD) to document requirements and design criteria, <br />including: (a) schedule and sequencing for rack relocation; and (b) a narrative of <br />criteria developed per Item 8 above. <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.191/Teladata (Agreement For Services) (Page 11 of 14)
