9A
Page 13

Here is a brief snapshot of some of this year's highlights:

. The program exceeded $1 billion in assets. This is a significant milestone and
achievement. The program has grown from four participants and $42 million in assets to
80 participants and over $1 billion in under five years;

. Wells Fargo completed the merger with Wachovia Bank, which Included the CalTRUST
program. Wachovia personnel along with Wells Capital Management created a team that
completed a seamless transition in the midst of a severe banking and economic crisis.
The program is now the beneficiary of the myriad of resources that Wells Fargo can offer;
and

. Tapping into the deep resources of Wells Fargo, CalTRUST successfully launched a
Money Market option to offer same-day liquidity and an AM-rated option to participants.

CalTRUST continues to be well positioned at the start of the new decade to offer a solid and
valuable investment program for local agencies throughout California.

For more information on CaITRUST, please visit www.caltrust.ora.

2010 Governor's Challenge to Engage Mayors

The Governor's Challenge in 2010 will bring together mayors and school district superintendents
to get more of California's residents in shape.

Each year, the Governor's Challenge Competition encourages Californians to be physically active
through a contest designed to get students, teachers and parents to exercise 30-60 minutes a
day, three days a week.

Run by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, next year's competition runs from
January through the end of May.
