(303) Minute Oede 09-264 <br /> ................................................................................., <br /> OUTGOING COUNCIL MEMBERS EXPRESS THEIR THANKS TO ROSANNE FOUST, <br /> MAYOR OF REDWOOD CITY AND LEAVE THE DAIS <br /> Vice Mayor Howard presented Mayor Foust with a token of appreciation from the Council <br /> and she thanked her for the finro years of service. She highlighted the Mayor's strengths <br /> and her hard work during a challenging two-year period. Vice Mayor Howard read portions <br /> of the proclamation that was presented to Mayor Foust. Various Council Members thanked <br /> the Mayor for her dedication and commitment to the Redwood City motto she picked for <br /> her mayoral term. Some Council Members thanked Mayor Foust for her commitment to <br /> making "business" a good word. One Council Member complimented Mayor's Foust ability <br /> to focus on the positive and her inclusive style. <br /> Mayor Foust acknowledged Pearl Harbor and it does matter to be appreciative and <br /> grateful. She thanked the community for electing her and her colleagues. She explained <br /> how thoroughly she enjoyed the work with children. She shared some books that have left <br /> an impression on her. She thanked staff in general for their help and support. <br /> 7. CITY COUNCIL RE-ORGANIZATION - INSTALLATION OF NEWLY ELECTED CITY <br /> COUNCIL MEMBERS, CONDUCTED BY CITY CLERK <br /> A. Administration of Oath of Office, and presentation of Certificates of Election to <br /> newly elected Council Members; <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden administered the Oath to each Council Member starting with the <br /> incumbent Jeff Ira, proceeding to Jeffrey Gee and then to John Seybert. The City Clerk <br /> presented each elected Council Member with a certificate of election. <br /> B.
