RESOLUTION N0. 1875 <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CONDEMNATION <br />OF RIGHT OF WAY AND EASEMENT FOR STORM <br />DRAINAGE FACILITIES. <br />RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the public interest and necessity require the <br />acquisition by the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br />of the State of California, of all necessary easements for the <br />construction, installation, maintenance and operation of storm <br />and water mains <br />drainage facilities /in, over and along the following-described <br />property: <br />PARCEL I: <br />The southeasterly 5 feet of Lot 6, Block <br />E. as designated on that map entitled "Woodside <br />Acres Map No. 1, San Mateo County, California ", <br />which map was filed in the office of the <br />Recorder of San Mateo County, California, on <br />May 18, 1923, in Book 11 of Maps at Pages 34 and <br />35 Said 5 foot strip dying parallel with, adja- <br />cent to, and alon the whole length of the common <br />lot line of Lots 9 and 7, Block E, Woodside Acres <br />No. 1. <br />PARCEL II: <br />The northwesterly 5 feet of Lot 7, Block <br />E. as designated on that map entitled "Woodside <br />Acres Map No. 1, San Mateo County, California ", <br />which map was filed in the office of the <br />Recorder of San Mateo County, California, on <br />May 18, 1923, in Book 11 of Maps at pages 34 and <br />35• Said 5 foot strip lying parallel with, adja- <br />cent to, and along the whole length of the common <br />lot line of Lots 6 and 7, Block E, Woodside Acres <br />No. 1. <br />2. That said property is suitable, adaptable, necessary <br />and required for the public use of said City of Redwood City, to <br />wit, for the construction, installation, maintenance and operation <br />and water mains <br />of storm drainage facilities /from Carleton Court to Kentfield <br />Avenue, and that an easement and right of way in of the above- <br />described property is necessary for the aforementioned purposes. <br />-1- <br />
