Request to increase the value of construction contracts for the Redwood Shores <br />Levee Improvement Project and the San Carlos Airport Levee Improvement <br />Project. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Authorize, by motion, the City Manager to increase the contract amounts originally <br />awarded to CEM Builders, Inc. DBA Tucker Engineering and Granite Rock <br />Company DBA Pavex Construction Division as necessary to complete the <br />construction of required improvements to the Redwood Shores and San Carlos <br />Airport levees, in an amount not to exceed the current fund balance of $574,000. <br />Minute Order 10-002 <br /> <br />C. Award of Contract - Redwood City Recycled Water Project - Phase I - Seaport <br />Customer Site Retrofits - Bid Package 4. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the <br />Redwood City Recycled Water Project - Phase 1 - Seaport Customer Site Retrofits <br />- Bid Package 4 Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Pacheco Brothers <br />Gardening, Inc. of Hayward for their responsive and responsible low bid of <br />$242,500 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up to <br />100/0 if necessary.
