<br />6.18 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />REPORT <br /> <br />To The Honorable Mayor and City Council and <br />The Redevelopment Agency Board <br />From the Ci Mana er and Executive Director <br /> <br />February 8, 2010 <br /> <br />SUBJECT <br />Consent to Assignment Agreement with Wagstaff and Associates, a Division of MIG <br /> <br />RECOMMENDA liON <br />Approve, by motion, the Consent to Assignment Agreement with Wagstaff and Associates <br />as a Division of MIG. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />On September 19, 2008 the City entered into an agreement with Wagstaff and Associates <br />to provide environmental consulting services related to the CEQA (California Environmental <br />Quality Act) analysis of the Stanford in Redwood City project. <br /> <br />On September 8, 2009 the City and Redevelopment Agency entered into an agreement <br />with Wagstaff and Associates to provide environmental consulting services related to the <br />CEQA analysis for the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> <br />J' <br /> <br />Since the agreements were approved Wagstaff and Associates has merged with a'nother <br />consulting firm (MIG), so that the official new title of the firm is "Wagstaff and Associates, a <br />Division of MIG". Per Section 24 of the original agreements, the original consultant <br />"Wagstaff and Associates" must obtain the City's consent in order to assign all the rights, <br />obligations and interest set forth in the original agreements to the recently merged legal <br />entity of "Wagstaff and Associates, a Division of MIG."
