Presentation: Swearing in of Two Newly Appointed Planning Commissioners <br />and One Mosquito Abatement Board Representative - Silvia <br />Vonderlinden, City Clerk <br /> <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Clarissa Ontiveros, with Boys and Girls Club, spoke about dreams lost and dreams won. <br />Ms. Ontiveros explained her journey into higher education and her desires to continue <br />pursuing her education. <br /> <br />Peter Fortenbaugh, Executive Director of Boys and Girls Club, interjected and said he was <br />very proud to be here tonight. He introduced four other youth present who are part of this <br />club and who are making a difference with their lives. The youth present were: Alex Perez, <br />Luis Contreras and Itzel Andres. <br /> <br />One Council Member said she had the pleasure of working with this organization and she <br />is so proud. She thanked Peter Fortenbaugh for all that he does for the greater <br />community. Vice Mayor Aguirre (speaking in Spanish) thanked all youth present especially <br />the parents, and how this youth are here and how they are the fruit of the hard work from <br />the parents. She shared her pride in them and the sacrifices the parents make. <br /> <br />M/S FousUAguirre to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously by <br />electronic vote. <br /> <br />MOTION: Waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt <br />the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. <br /> <br />6.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br />A. Approve the Regular City Council meeting minutes of January 25, 2010 as <br />submitted. <br />Minute Order 10-021 <br />B. Consent to Assignment Agreement with Wagstaff and Associates, a Division of <br />MIG - City Council/Redevelopment Aaencv Board. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, the Consent to Assignment Agreement with Wagstaff and <br />Associates as a Division of MIG. <br /> <br />Minute Order 10-022 <br />RDA Minute Order 10-01 <br />C. Award of Contract - Water and Sewer Replacement Project (Hillcrest Drive, Circle <br />Road, and Hopkins Avenue). <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1.
