Barbara Tingley also lives in a mobile home noted that there are a lot of seniors on fixed incomes and that there have been a lot of complaints regarding the sewer backups. Mayor Ira explained that tonight the issue is on collection rates not sewer rates. Francisco Avitia asked who is raising the rates and said they do not understand who is doing this and why, and that they do not have any recycling bins. He said there have been multiple sewage backups with sewage all over the floor and he expressed concerns about health, jurisdiction, and how no one has helped them or provided guidance on what to do.
