<br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />City Advocate Weekly Issue No. 4-2010. Council may direct staff to act on <br />positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities City Advocate <br />Weekly available in the City Clerk's Department). <br /> <br />B. Council Reports on Committee Meetings Attended. <br /> <br />1. Council Member Bain <br />2. Council Member Foust <br />3. Council Member Gee - reported on attending the San Francisco Airport <br />Roundtable and Mr. Mike Church was reelected as the Chair. <br />4. Council Member Pierce <br />5. Council Member Seybert <br />6. Vice Mayor Aguirre - reported that the Sequoia High School had a great <br />exhibit, and that there was a World Health care day meetin~ chaired by <br />supervisor Carole Groom. She also attended Mt. Carmel's 125t anniversary <br />and she said that other Council Members were present as well - Foust, <br />Pierce, Seybert and Hartnett. She also attended the museum centennial <br />event kick-off and was also in attendance at the census opening event in <br />Mountain View. <br />7. Mayor Ira - He has gotten a lot of questions about the city's Precise Plan <br />and City Manager Ingram explained that this will be circled back with the <br />MayorNice Mayor and this might come back possibly March 8, 2010. <br />Mayor Ira stated that on the styrofoam issue he will have it handled by the <br />Chamber of Commerce and Recology. He mentioned this is a good <br />opportunity for a partnership and these two organizations can take the lead. <br /> <br />C. City Council Member Report of Conference/Meeting Attendance. <br /> <br />10. ADJOURN- M/S Pierce/Bain to adjourn at 8:37 p.m. in memory of Hope Howard, <br />mother in law of former Council Member Diane Howard.
