<br />Council of Redwood City, in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in <br />said City, as the day, hour, and place when and where any and all <br />persons having any objections to the proposed work and improve- <br />ments described in said Resolution ~f Intention No. 2074, or to <br />the grades at which said' work and improvements are to be done and <br />made, or to the district to be assessed for said work and improve- <br />ments, could appear before said Council and show cause why said <br />proposed work and improvements should not be carried out and done <br />in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 2074, or why <br />said work and improvements should not be carried out and done at <br />the grades as shown on the plans, profiles and detailed drawings <br />referred to in said Resolution of Intention No.2074 and now on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour, and place last above mentioned, <br />all objections, oral and written, to said work and improvements <br />described in said Resolution of Intention No. 207~ or to the <br />extent of the district to be assessed therefor, were duly con- <br />sidered by said Council; and <br />WHEREAS all said objections were Overruled and denied by <br />said Council; and <br />WHEREAS said Council did determine that p~otests were not <br />made by more than one half (1/2) of the owners of the property <br />proposed to be assessed for said work and improvements; and <br />VffiEREAS said Council has acquired jurisdiction to prder said <br />work and improvements; <br /> <br />-2- <br />
