<br />6.10 <br />Page 2 <br />WagstaffIMIG is now requesting an amendment of $85.285 to cover the cost of additional EIR <br />work to be conducted by WagstaffIMIG and their sub-consultants including, but not limited to: <br />transportation demand management (TOM) traffic analysis; revised EIR Air Quality. Climate <br />Change and Noise chapters to reflect the effects of the proposed TOM programs; a new shadow <br />study; revised EIR chapters based on the above additional work; and an additional cycle of <br />administrative draft EI R review that were not included in the original scope of work. Stanford and <br />City staff have agreed that these additional studies are necessary and Stanford has agreed to <br />fund them (Attachment 2). <br /> <br />It is anticipated that work related to the amended contracts will be completed in approximately <br />eight to ten weeks and that the "Stanford in Redwood City" Precise Plan and EIR documents will <br />be finalized by May. Staff will continue to coordinate these studies with the other studies that are <br />also under way for the project, including the fiscal and economic impact analyses. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVE <br />Council may choose not to approve contract amendment No.1 with Bottomley Design & Planning <br />or direct staff to modify the scope of work, or work with an altemative consultant or perform the <br />work in-house. The applicant <br />has submitted deposits to cover the cost of staff time needed for reviewing and processing the <br />development proposal. The applicant has also submitted funds to the City to cover the cost of all <br />consultaJ}ts.
