<br />Exhibit B <br />Bayfront Special Study Area <br />February 10, 2010 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />Scope of Services and Fee <br /> <br />Bayfront I Redwood Creek Special Study Area <br /> <br />Fees <br />We propose to develop the scope of work as defmed above for a fee not to exceed $60,000. Due to <br />the evolving nature of this initial scope, Hart Howerton will be allowed flexibility in the allocation of <br />budget amounts for the specific outlined steps during the execution of the contract, as long as it stays <br />within the overall not-to-exceed maximum total budget amount, and is in synch with the City's <br />expressed interests. <br /> <br />Fees are based on an hourly time and reimbursable expense basis. We will bill you monthly in <br />accordance with the Terms and Conditions established within this contract. Expenses may be <br />incurred bringing consultants to Redwood City and would be part of the invoicing process for this <br />contract. Hart Howerton travel, reproduction, printing and other reimbursable expenses related to <br />the completion of the work efforts outlined in this proposal are part of this proposal and within the <br />not-to-exceed fee. <br /> <br />A subsequent fee proposal will be prepared for Phases 2 and 3 upon completion of this Scope of <br />Work, as described in Exhibit A. <br />
