Bike to Work Day <br /> <br />Each May, the Alliance is the coordinator for all San Mateo <br />County Bike-to-Work Energizer stations. On May 14, <br />2009, the Alliance counted 3,482 participants in the annual <br />Bike-co-Work event. <br /> <br />Goal: <br /> <br />· Participate in Bay Area wide event to promote <br />the use of bicycling as a convenient form of com- <br /> <br />muting. <br /> <br />Obiecfive: <br /> <br />· Increase the number of Bike to Work Day partici- <br />pants by 10% from the previous year. <br /> <br />21 <br />
