<br />6.18 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />LICENSE <br />AGREEMENT <br />(COLLEGE OF ADAPTIVE ARTS) <br /> <br />THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT ("Agreement" or "License"), is made and entered <br />into as of the _ day of , 2010 by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, C'Agency" or "Licensor") <br />a public body, corporate and politic, duly organized and existing under the laws of the <br />State of California, and the COLLEGE OF ADAPTIVE ARTS, a private non-profit <br />corporation in the State of California ("Licensee") (collectively, the "Parties" or the <br />"Parties to this License"). The Manager of the Veterans Memorial Senior Center or <br />his/her designee serves as Administrator of this License on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. WHEREAS, Licensor is the owner of record of the real property and <br />improvement located at Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison <br />Avenue, Redwood City, California, 94061; and <br /> <br />8. WHEREAS, Licensor desires to provide community members with adaptive art <br />services at its Veterans Memorial Senior Center facility for the benefit of the <br />Redwood City community and the public at large; and <br /> <br />C. WHEREAS, Licensee seeks to utilize office space owned by Licensor in order to <br />conduct its administrative operations; and <br /> <br />D. WHEREAS, Licensee may also utilize transportation services provided by and <br />arranged with Licensor. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the terms, covenants, <br />and conditions contained herein, Licensor and Licensee agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. GRANT OF LICENSE. <br /> <br />1.1 The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> <br />1.2 Licensor hereby grants to Licensee a revocable license for use of the <br />Premises, as defined below, on the terms and upon the conditions set <br />forth in this Agreement. <br /> <br />A TTY/AGR/201 0.025 <br />040710 <br /> <br />1 <br />
