EXHIBIT C <br />Cooperation in Implementation <br />City agrees to cooperate with CCSF in the following areas: <br />1. If City property is located within 500 feet of any Project location described in Exhibit A, <br />provide access onto City property for CCSF and/or its contractors to perform surveys <br />relating to bird nests and burrowing owls. <br />2. Provide access to CCSF onto City property to allow installation of necessary noise <br />barriers and vibration monitoring of structures adjacent to the construction zone. <br />3. Work with CCSF's Contractor to establish haul routes. City shall review in a timely <br />manner Contractor's proposed hauling plan, provide comments, and provide its written <br />approval of that plan. <br />4. Approve solid waste recycling plan that will be limited to a 50% diversion rate. <br />Contractor actions to divert inert solids from disposal in a landfill (as defined in the <br />Integrated Waste Management Act, AB 939) will be limited to 50%. <br />5. Before commencement of Project construction, City's Emergency Service Providers <br />(Redwood City Fire Department, Redwood City Police Department) shall meet with <br />CCSF and its contractor to discuss traffic changes due to construction, based on traffic <br />control plans provided by CCSF's Contractor and approved by City. CCSF's Contractor <br />will coordinate with affected service providers between 5 and 10 days in advance of <br />starting work, and will provide a copy of the approved traffic control plan. City or its <br />Emergency Service Providers shall provide documentation of approval via a letter. <br />6. Work cooperatively with CCSF's Contractor to establish permit conditions, discharge <br />locations and discharge rates for groundwater and construction discharges. City shall <br />review Contractor's proposed discharge plan within a timely fashion, provide comments, <br />and approve as necessary. <br />7. At no charge to CCSF, City will assist with locating existing sanitary sewer manholes in <br />association with sanitary sewer CCTV operations by CCSF contractor. CCSF contractor <br />shall provide city with copies of pre and post CCTV inspection CDs. <br />8. In connection with the replacement of City's pipelines with PVC piping as stated in <br />Exhibit B. at its sole cost, City will perform all existing water system valve opening and <br />closing operations, and blow off of pressure from water mains. City shall provide CCSF <br />information regarding any affected area for any service interruption, and CCSF shall <br />provide the public notification of any service interruption. <br />CCSF agrees to cooperate with City in the following areas: <br />1. CCSF will assist City in the collection of existing water pipe and soil samples by <br />requiring CCSF's Contractor to obtain the samples at each location where CCSF's MOA <br />Work calls for a water pipe section replacement and providing such samples to City's <br />project inspector <br />C-1 <br />City of Redwood City MOA ver 030910 <br />
