<br />Task 6.4 Scoping Meetings <br /> <br />The EeT shall prepare and conduct a series of public scoping meetings. The ECT shall log <br />comments made by agencies and the public throughout the duration of the meetings. Topic oriented <br />public meetings shall focus on a distinct environmental topic or group of associated topics in relation to <br />the Proj ect. <br /> <br />Following each scoping meeting. the ECT shall compile scoping comments in a database noting <br />the date. name. organization and text of the comment. Each comment will be identified by topic so that <br />the database may be searched by topic area. <br /> <br />Task 6.5 Scoping Report <br />After the scoping meetings are complete and comments compiled. the ECT shall prepare a <br />scoping report. The Scoping Report shall list the persons or agencies that submitted comments and will <br />include the comment database in the report appendix. The Scoping Report shall include a summary of <br />comments with focus on the issues to be analyzed and a recommendation of the alternatives that should <br />be taken forward in the for analysis. <br /> <br />Task 6.6 Alternatives Development Report <br /> <br />The ECT shall prepare Alternatives Development Report based on data collected during the scoping <br />meetings. The Alternatives shall be feasible and distinct in nature and shall meet the Project Objectives. <br /> <br />Task 6.7 Identification of Special Studies <br /> <br />Based on the outlines in Task 4 and the comments received during the scoping process. the ECT <br />will develop a list of special studies needed to support the preparation of the environmental documents. <br />The special studies shall detail participants and study locations. what will be done during the studies. <br />what methods will be used. what type of data will be collected. how study results will be presented. and <br />why the studies are needed. Some technical studies may commence during this period.
