<br />7A <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />Because the project does not permit any new development or any physical changes to the <br />environment, it does not conflict w~h any 19cal policies or ordinances protecting biological resources. <br />Furthermore. the potential future development associated with tliis project will be limited to the City's R- <br />2 zoning districts which by their location do not present conflicts with any adopted Habitat Conservation <br />Plan, Natural Community Conservation Plan, or other approved 10calJ regional or state habitat <br />conservation plan. Moreover, the issuance of a PO Permit is a discretionary action subject to <br />compliance with CEQA requirements. Therefore, any future development permitted by the proposed <br />ordinance amendment will be subject to prior CEQA compliance to ensure that such future <br />development does not conflict with such policies, ordinances and plans. <br /> <br />V. In the event human or archaeological remains are discovered during grading or <br />construction for new residences, the contractor shall contact the City and halt all activities until further <br />direction by City staff after consultation with the County Coroner and appropriate law enforcement and <br />cultural resources staff.
