<br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF THE SITE <br /> <br />I. HOURS OF WORK <br /> <br />A. Working hours shall be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />II. PLANS <br /> <br />A. Those certain plans entitled Veterans Senior Center Parking Lot LED Light <br />Standard Project consisting of three (3) sheets, are hereby made a part of this <br />contract. <br /> <br />B. The City's Standard Specifications and Details. <br /> <br />C. California Building Code -2007 shall be made a part of this Contract <br /> <br />D. California Electrical Code -2007 shall be made a part of this Contract <br /> <br />III. TIME OF COMPLETION, INSURANCE & BONDS <br /> <br />A. Time of completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. <br /> <br />B. The contractor shall submit a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive <br />workers' compensation and general liability insurance coverage in the amount of <br />$1,000,000. Such certificate shall also name the City of Redwood City, its Council, <br />Boards, Commissions, Officers, Agents and employees as additional insured on the <br />policy as shown in paragraph 7 of the "Agreement". <br /> <br />C. Bonds shall be required for this project (see Standard Bond Attachments). <br />Other bond forms may be used, subject to approval prior to the start of work. <br /> <br />IV. DAMAGES FOR DELAYS <br /> <br />A. Liquidated damages, for the period of time that any portion of the work remains <br />unfinished after the time fixed for completion in the Contract Documents, as <br />modified by extensions of time granted by the Owner, it is understood as agreed by <br />the Contractor and the Owner that the contractor shall pay the Owner Five <br />Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($500.00) per day liquidated damages. <br /> <br />V. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />A. Install new street light pole and LED luminaire to existing foundation as shown and <br />noted on the contract drawings. <br /> <br />B. Luminaire shall be 140W LED by KIM Lighting or approved equal. The wattage and <br />distribution as shown on plans. <br /> <br />C. Lights shall be wired for 240 Volts. <br /> <br />D. Conduit location and size shall be as shown on the plans. <br /> <br />E. Pole shall be in place and truly plumbed and the luminaires shall be leveled prior to <br />bolting the pole to the existing foundation. <br /> <br />4 <br />
