<br />OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE DATA AND SPARE PARTS <br /> <br />1.01 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL <br /> <br />Prior to the delivery and installation of any item of equipment the Supplier shall submit and <br />obtain approval of the Operation and Maintenance Manual. <br /> <br />Submit two (2) preliminary hard copies to the Engineer for review. One copy will be returned <br />within fourteen (14) days with review comments and corrections. Supplier shall make required <br />corrections, provide additional data as required, and incorporate review comments. Submit <br />three (3) final hard copies of the complete manuals. <br /> <br />No equipment shall be delivered or installed until submittal and approval of the final manuals. <br /> <br />All manuals shall be bound, include table of contents, and marked to indicate the specific <br />equipment furnished, and shall include: <br /> <br />a. Delivery and storage instructions <br />b. Assembly and installation instructions <br />c. Instructions for initial lubrication and equipment adjustments <br />d. Startup instructions <br />e. Normal operation instructions <br />f. Special operating instructions <br />g. Routine maintenance procedures and reinstallation instructions <br />h. Lubrication Schedule, including instructions, type, amount, and frequency <br />i. Parts identification <br />j. List of spare parts recommended to have on hand, and recommended quantity <br />k. Testing and troubleshooting instructions <br />I. Operator safety instructions <br />m. Performance curves <br />n. Factory test data <br />o. For all electrical equipment, provide the following additional information: <br />1) Equipment ratings <br />2) Calibration curves and rating tables if appropriate <br />3) Wiring diagrams. <br /> <br />1.02 SPARE PARTS AND TOOLS <br /> <br />Where equipment, special repair tools, safety equipment, or other loose parts are specified to <br />be furnished, they shall be delivered at the same time as the equipment. Each part shall be fully <br />identified as to the manufacturer, part number, purpose, and associated item of equipment.
