<br />6.1A <br />Page 2 <br />Completion of the Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project (Manzanita, Shasta, Spruce, <br />Pine, and Heller) will improve the condition and capacity of the collection system. The <br />project will replace approximately 1,557 linear feet of 6-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) <br />sewer main with new 8-inch polyvinyl chloride pipe (PVC) , 616 linear feet of 12-inch <br />VCP sewer main with new 18-inch PVC, and 1,717 linear feet of 16-inch VCP sewer <br />main with new 18-inch PVC. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve the license agreement and direct staff to modify the <br />design of the project. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The estimated cost of administrative support and permitting provided by the JPB <br />resulting from the license agreement activity is $13,200. Funds have been approved <br />and appropriated by the City Council in fiscal year 2009/10 for this project as Sewer <br />Fund Capital Projects -- Collection System Replacement Program which has an <br />available balance of $459,352.96 as of May 31,2010. <br /> <br /> <br />~~ ~/1 <br /> <br />Jimmy Tan, PE S.
