The signs may be displayed off of the <br /> premises either on privately owned property or within the public right-of-way, <br /> provided the provisions set forth in Section 3.114 of this Article are satisfied. <br /> <br /> 3. Time Limit. The signs may be displayed only when the property is open to <br /> members of the general public for viewing the property. <br /> <br /> DIVISION 9. PROHIBITED SIGNS <br /> <br />Section 3.'112. General Application. No person shall install or maintain any of the <br />signs identified in this Division. Any prohibited sign shall be immediately abated by the <br />property owner or person responsible for the installation and/or maintenance of the <br />sign. <br />Section 3.'113. Prohibited Types of Signs. No person shall install or maintain any of <br />the following signs at any location in the City: <br /> <br /> a. Abandoned Signs and/or Displays. Abandoned Signs and/or Displays. <br /> <br /> b. Animated Signs. Animated signs with the exception of signs that display the <br /> current time, date, temperature, weather conditions or other public service <br /> information. <br /> <br /> c. Audible Signs. Audible signs with the exception of any sign that conveys <br /> information to customers in vehicles at an approved drive-through window. <br /> <br /> d. Billboards. Any freestanding sign exceeding one hundred fifty (150) square feet <br /> in area. <br /> <br /> e. Electronic Message Signs. Electronic message signs with the exception of <br /> scoreboards for athletic events which are located at the site of the event. <br /> <br /> f. Home Occupation Signs. Signs which identify, advertise or attract attention to <br /> any home occupation as defined in the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> g. Portable Signs. Portable signs with the exception of signs that comply with the <br /> provisions of Division 4 Section 3.79 (a) ("Portable Signs") and Division 8 ("Real <br /> Estate Signs") of this Article. <br /> <br /> h. Signs Resembling A Traffic Control Device. Any sign which by its color, <br /> shape, location or other feature resembles or conflicts with the operation of any <br /> official traffic control device, sign or signal. <br /> <br /> i. Inflatable Signs, Sky Signs, Spinners, and Ribbons.
