i. Any other information and materials requested by the City that are necessary to <br /> determine compliance with the provisions of this Article and the Redwood City <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Section 3.64. Review Process. Within thirty (30) days from receipt of an application, <br />the City shall determine whether it is complete. If the application is incomplete, the <br />applicant shall be notified in writing of the specific ways in which it is deficient with <br />references to applicable requirements. If the application is complete, it shall be <br />scheduled for review by the Architectural Review Committee or the Zoning <br />Administrator as set forth below. <br /> <br /> a. Architectural Review Committee. Master sign programs, exceptions, and <br /> exemptions for historic signs and the following signs are subject to review <br /> and approval by the Architectural Review Committee: <br /> 1. neighborhood identification signs; <br /> 2. neighborhood announcement signs; <br /> 3. architectural banners; <br /> 4. freestanding signs over (6) feet in height, <br /> 5. portable signs; <br /> 6. advertising artwork; <br /> 7. painted wall signs; <br /> 8. neon signs; and <br /> 9. illuminated awning/canopy signs. <br /> <br /> b. Zoning Administrator. Requests for approval of minor exceptions and any <br /> signs that are not listed in subsection (a) above that comply with the <br /> provisions of this Article shall be reviewed and approved by the Zoning <br /> Administrator or his/her designee, unless the Zoning Administrator or his/her <br /> designee decides to refer the application to the Architectural Review <br /> Committee for a decision. <br /> <br />Section 3.65. Conditions of Approval. In approving a sign permit application, the <br />City may impose such reasonable conditions as are deemed appropriate or necessary <br />to secure the objectives of this Article. <br /> <br />Section 3.66. Appeal Process. The applicant or any interested person may appeal a <br />decision of the Architectural Review Committee or the Zoning Administrator or his/her <br />designee within seven (7) calendar days of the action, as set forth in Article 48 <br />(Appeals) of the Zoning Ordinance. No building permit or electrical permit shall be <br />issued until the appeal period has expired. If a decision is appealed, no building permit <br />or electrical permit shall be issued and the sign(s) shall not be installed until a decision <br />on the appeal authorizing the issuance of the permit is made and such decision <br />becomes final. <br /> <br />shared/shared/Cou ncil/Ord <br />Signordl 6/7/99r <br /> 9 2161 <br /> <br /> <br />
