<br />6.1A <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />APPOINTING PAMELA THOMPSON AS CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council undertook a statewide recruitment for city attorney and <br />received applications from superior candidates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pamela Thompson has the skills and ability to undertake the city attorney <br />position and the Council wishes her to do so; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Pamela Thomson is appointed City Attorney for the City of Redwood City <br />effective August 4, 2010. The contract entitled "Employment Agreement Pamela <br />Thompson, City Attorney" is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The employment term of the interim City Attorney Roy C.
