He asked Council to consider an independent <br />inquiry into the process and he said he would submit additional documents regarding <br />the appeal. <br /> <br />Mayor Ira acknowledged that it was an emotional issue and that Council did not expect <br />an apology. <br /> <br />Bram Mencher said he has property at Goodwin and Virginia and that he has often <br />wondered why there is a two-way and not a four-way stop at that corner. He has <br />spoken to engineering department staff, gathered signatures in neighborhood, and <br />requested approval of the four-way stop sign installation to make it safer. <br /> <br />Brett Garrett, a 15-year resident of Redwood City, expressed his appreciation of what <br />Council does to reduce the carbon footprint. He spoke about concerns for the <br />environment, clean power, Proposition 16 (regarding PG & E), and the possible <br />community choice for an aggregation program in Redwood City, San Mateo County. <br />He cited Marin as an example where people have a choice for energy and mentioned <br />more information can be found at marinclean.info. <br /> <br />MIS BainlSeybert to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted.
