Box 391 <br />Redwood City, CA 94064 <br /> <br />Re: Draft Proposed Scope of Work and Budget for Additional Services Relative to <br />Impact Analyses of Stanford in Redwood City Campus Project <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Riordan: <br /> <br />As a follow-up to our meeting last Thursday, I have prepared this letter describing the <br />additional services that are being requested of Keyser Marston relative to our current <br />contract to evaluate the impacts of the Stanford in Redwood City Campus Project and a <br />proposed budget for providing the services. <br /> <br />Proposed Additional Services <br /> <br />It is our understanding that the City is requesting KMA to undertake the following: <br /> <br />1. Evaluate police call data for other Redwood City shopping centers and potentially <br />revise fiscal impact analysis of retail opportunity cost scenario to reflect broader <br />police call data; <br /> <br />2. Work with City staff to collect sales and use tax data for other administrative office <br />businesses in Redwood City, and estimate employment count for these businesses <br />to estimate sales and use tax generation figures for application to the Stanford <br />project. <br /> <br />3. Review the budgets of other municipalities relative to the portion of department <br />expenses that are "fixed" versus "variable." <br /> <br />4.
