t(Q)~)f

WHEREAS, Port Commissioners desire to acknowledge consideration of the

FEIR and comments and revisions thereto for purposes of compliance with CEQA and

the State CEQA Guidelines.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD

CITY, BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS, AS

FOLLOWS:

1. This Board hereby finds and determines that the foregoing recitals are true

statements of fact.

2. Having reviewed and considered the FEIR and other factual and legal opinions

necessary for the evaluation thereof, this Board hereby finds that the Project may have a

significant effect on the environment, that some of the potential significant effects shall

be mitigated or avoided by the changes or alterations which have been required in, or

incorporated into, the Project; that some changes or alterations are within the

responsibility and jurisdiction of another public agency or other public agencies, and can,

or should be, adopted by said agency or agencies; and that some significant effects upon

the environment cannot be mitigated, as hereinafter set forth.

3. The General Plan designation for the site IS Heavy Industrial Use

(Manufacturing, Processing, and Shipping). The General Plan defines Heavy Industrial as

"land to be developed for manufacturing, processing, and shipping, where truck and rail

traffic is necessary and outdoor storage can be expected." The Project conforms to the

General Plan.

Reso- 169; 4:59:50 PM
:\shared\Port\Reso
FXS
07/28/2010

4
