rq. 16-2 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 2 <br />TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />[ANDERSON BRULE ARCHITECTS] <br />This Amendment No. 2 is entered into and effective as of the _day of <br />January, 2003, amending the Agreement dated October 18, 2002 (the "Agreement "), by <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California (hereinafter referred to as "City "), and Anderson Brule ( "Consultant ") <br />(collectively, the "Parties "). <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, on E_ptem:,er 23, 2002 the City Council approved and authorized <br />execution of the Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, Paragraph 3 of the Agreement — Additional Services allows additional <br />services not otherwise included within the scope of the Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 4, 2002, the City Council approved and authorized the <br />adoption of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement which amended paragraph 6 of the <br />Agreement - Performance Standards; and <br />WHEREAS, the City would now like Consultant to provide 3 -D mass modeling <br />views for the proposed City Branch Library in Redwood Shores (the "proposed Library"). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br />1. Consultant will provide 3 -D mass modeling and views for the Proposed <br />Library as described in Consultant's proposal dated January 9, 2003, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />2. For the Services described in Exhibit A, Consultant will be paid a not -to- <br />exceed amount of seven thousand seven hundred sixty -five dollars <br />($7,765). <br />3. All other provisions of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. <br />4.
