Art Gallery: An art gallery totaling 180 square feet, occupying the building <br />storefront (approximately the front 8% of the building) is proposed as a <br />permitted use pursuant to Section 26.2.13 of the Zoning Ordinance. As <br />proposed, the art gallery would include the display of paintings, sculptures, <br />and art objects for sale to the general public. <br />2. Professional Beauty Supply Store: A professional beauty supply store <br />comprising 2,120 square feet located in the remainder of the building <br />(approximately the rear 92% of the building) is proposed pursuant to <br />Section 26A.S of the Zoning Ordinance. As proposed, the professional <br />beauty supply store would sell professional products to licensed <br />cosmetologists only. This proposed use includes floor area for product <br />display and purchase, an office for administrative support, and a <br />demonstration area. <br />The Zoning Administrator made the following determinations regarding this <br />application: <br />1. Art Gallery: The art gallery is permitted pursuant to Article 26.2.8. <br />2. Professional Beauty Supply Store: The professional beauty supply store <br />use is not allowed based upon Article 26, Central Business Retail Zoning <br />District, of the Zoning Ordinance as follows: <br />
