<br />.- <br /> <br />Ai <br /> <br />DES:elU 8/3/70 <br />· ORIGINAL <br /> <br />N o. 6.J'7t1'" SEP 14 1970 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T 1. 0 N <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY <br />INTERESTS AND APPROVING A..N'D AU'I'HORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREE~ffiNT AMENDING LEASE AGREEMENT MARINE <br />HARBOR RESTAURANT FACILITIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Redwood city, as Lessor, and Host <br /> <br /> <br />International, Inc., as Lessee, have heretofore made and entered <br /> <br />into that certain lease agreement entitled "Lease Agreement - <br /> <br /> <br />Marine Harbor Restaurant Facilities," dated March 6, 1970 (herein- <br /> <br />after referred to as the basic lease agreement); and <br /> <br />~\THEREAS t the public interest I convenience and necessi ty <br /> <br />require the substitution and exchange of that certain real <br /> <br />property described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto, and <br /> <br />by this reference incorporated herein, and designated IIparcel <br /> <br />A (property to be conveyed by the City of Redwood City) II for, <br /> <br />and in place of the premises leased pursuant to the basic lease <br /> <br />agreement which premises are more particularly described on page <br /> <br />1 of the basic lease agreement, and which are also described in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, and designated "Parcel B (property to be <br /> <br />received by the City of Redwood City)"; and <br /> <br />\mEREAS, the City of Redwood city and Host International, <br /> <br />Inc., propose to amend the basic lease agreement to provide for <br /> <br />the above mentioned substitution and exchange of said real pro- <br /> <br />perty, and to enter into an agreement providing therefor; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS I the Asses'sor of the Ci ty of RedvJood City has I <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of subdivision (h) of Section 3-1/2 <br /> <br />of the Charter of the city of Redwood City, made an appraisal ~f <br />all the real pr~perty included within the proposed exchange and <br /> <br />has found that the value of the property to be received by the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City is equal to or greater than the value of the <br /> <br />property to be disposed of; <br /> <br />. ! \\ <br />I,i _i.~' <br />
