RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RED\100D CITY APPROVING THE ANNEXi"\T'ION TO rrHE CI1'Y OF RED\100D CITY OF CERrrAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNA1'ED "HILLCREST ANNEXi\TION NO. 2 II Ai\rp HEREIN DESCRIBED; AND, HEREIN ANNEXING SF.ID rrERRITORY TO THE CI'I.'Y OF RED\AJOOD CITY PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 35015 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: ~1HEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local Agency Formation Comnlission of the County of San Mateo, california, a written proposal to annex to the city of Redwood city all that terri tory \'v"hich. is hereinafter described; and \'~HERE1\S, said Council has received evidence showing that, and finds that; said Local Agency Formation commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, reports to said council upon said annexation proposal, all as required by law, and that said commission has approved said proposed annexation: and ~n1EREASf this Council further has received evidence showing and finds: (1) That said terri.tory is situate immediately adjacent to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the city of Redwood City: and (2) That less than 12 registered voters presently reside wi.thin said terri tory and. that said territory is therefore uninhabited; (3) That the petition proposing said annexation has been signed, or consent has been give~, by the owners of all the land in the territory proposed to be annexed: and WHEREI~S t said Local Agency Formation Commission has authorized the City of Redwood city to proceed with said annexation without notice and hearing, pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 35015:
