OR\G\N.AL JIll 20 '7/1 RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. ~'f/f/ RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE EASEHENTS FOR SANITARY SEWER AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES IN LANDS SITUATE BETWEEN BAYSHORE FREID~AY AND VETERANS BOULEVARD IN THE VICINITY OF THE INTERSECTION OF VETERANS BOULEVARD WITH CHESTNUT STREET WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this ? Council that the hereinafter described easements for sanitary sewer and public utility purposes are no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes, subject to reservation of an easement for public utility purposes in a portion of the real property affected by said easements; and WHEREAS, the easements for sanitary sewer and public utility purposes which are no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes are located within lands situate between the Bayshore Freeway and Veterans Boulevard in the vicinity of the intersection of Veterans Boulevard with Chestnut Street, and are within a portion of that certain parcel of land described in Parcel 4 of the deed to the State of California, recorded July 23, 1943, in Book 1064 of Official Records at page 276, Records of San Mateo County, California, and a portion of those parcels of land described in Parcels 4, 5 and 6 in the deed to the state of California, recorded August 5, 1957, in Book 3259 of Official Records at page 653, Records of San Hateo County, . California; and WHEREAS, said easements are unnecessary for present or prospective public use: and WHEREAS, Article 5 (commencing at ~50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code of the state of California provides a procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities;
