<br />..... .r <br /> <br />e.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES: yc: 7/17/70 . <br /> <br />'\. <br /> <br />OR\G\N.AL <br /> <br />JIll 20 '7/1 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. ~'f/f/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE EASEHENTS FOR <br />SANITARY SEWER AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES IN LANDS <br />SITUATE BETWEEN BAYSHORE FREID~AY AND VETERANS <br />BOULEVARD IN THE VICINITY OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br />VETERANS BOULEVARD WITH CHESTNUT STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this ? <br /> <br />Council that the hereinafter described easements for sanitary <br /> <br />sewer and public utility purposes are no longer necessary or <br /> <br />needed for public municipal purposes, subject to reservation of <br /> <br />an easement for public utility purposes in a portion of the <br /> <br />real property affected by said easements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the easements for sanitary sewer and public utility <br /> <br />purposes which are no longer necessary or needed for public <br /> <br />municipal purposes are located within lands situate between the <br /> <br />Bayshore Freeway and Veterans Boulevard in the vicinity of the <br /> <br />intersection of Veterans Boulevard with Chestnut Street, and <br /> <br />are within a portion of that certain parcel of land described <br /> <br />in Parcel 4 of the deed to the State of California, recorded <br /> <br />July 23, 1943, in Book 1064 of Official Records at page 276, <br /> <br />Records of San Mateo County, California, and a portion of those <br /> <br />parcels of land described in Parcels 4, 5 and 6 in the deed to <br /> <br />the state of California, recorded August 5, 1957, in Book 3259 <br /> <br />of Official Records at page 653, Records of San Hateo County, <br /> <br />. California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said easements are unnecessary for present or <br /> <br />prospective public use: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 5 (commencing at ~50430) of Chapter 2, <br /> <br />Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code of the state <br /> <br />of California provides a procedure for the vacation of easements <br /> <br />by local authorities; <br />
