<br />, ,I' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood city hereby declares <br /> <br />its intention to abandon the'hereinafter described easements for <br /> <br />sanitary sewer and public utility purposes pursuant to the afore- <br /> <br />mentioned Government Code provisions, and subject to reservation <br /> <br />of a public utility easement likewise hereinafter described. <br /> <br />2. The above mentioned easements for sanitary sewer and <br /> <br />public utility purposes which are to be abandoned are described <br /> <br />as follows: The present utility facilities and the easement for <br /> <br />the existing sanitary sewer of the City of Redwood city. located <br /> <br />in the easterly portion of, and within all that real property <br /> <br />situate in the city of Redwood city; County of San Mateo, State <br /> <br />of Ca~ifornia, described as follows: <br /> <br />A portion of that certain parcel of land described in <br />Parcel 4 of the deed ~o the State of california recorded <br />July 23, 1943, in Book 1064 of Official Records at page <br />276, Records of San Mateo County, California, and a <br />portion of those parcels of land described in Parcels 4, <br />5 and 6 in the deed to the State of California, recorded <br />August 5, 1957, in Book 3259 of Official Records at page <br />653, Records of San Mateo County, California, described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the intersection of the northerly line of <br />Bayshore Highway (124.99 feet wide), as said highway <br />existed prior to the construction of the existing <br />Bayshore Freeway, with the westerly corner of said <br />Parcel 4 in said deed (1064 O.R. 276); thence along <br />the general northwesterly line of last said parcel, <br />north 650 211 48" east 300.89 feet; thence south 480 <br />271 49" east 164.18 feet; then'ce south 690 001 00" west <br />164.60 feet to said'northerly line of Bayshore Highway; <br />thence along last said line, north 800 051 12" west <br />246.40 f~et to the point of commencement. <br /> <br />Reserving and excepting therefrom the perpetual right, <br />privilege, easement and. right of way to excavate, <br />constrUct, maintain, repair, improve, and use such <br />public utility facilities as the city of Redwood city <br />shall from time to time elect within any part or all <br />of the following described portion of the above <br />described parcel of real property: <br /> <br />-2- <br />
