That, subsequent to publication of the notice referred <br />to in paragraph number 4 hereof, it is the intention of this <br />Council to enter into an agreement providing for the acquisition <br />by the City of Redwood City of all property and assets of the <br />Friendly Acres Water Company (which property and assets are more <br />particularly described in the agreement hereinafter referred to), <br />which agreement shall be substantially in the form of that certain <br />agreement entitled "Proposed Agreement for Sale-Purchase of <br />Friendly Acres Water System," a copy of which proposed agreement <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof. <br />2. That this Council finds and determines that in con- <br />nection with the intended acquisition aforesaid, certain real <br />property interests are to be acquired by the City of Redwood City <br />the value of which are, or may be, in excess of Two Thousand <br />Dollars ($ 2,000.00) . <br />3. That the real property interests to be acquired include <br />all easements, rights of way, water rights, both surface and <br />subsurface, and similar rights and privileges owned by the <br />sellers of the aforesaid Friendly Acres Water Company, and <br />described in the aforesaid proposed agreement. <br />4. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to <br />publish notice of intention to acquire said real property <br />interests in compliance with section 3-1/2 of the Charter of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
