VJ 2.2.. 7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 6181 AND 6182, <br />AND DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY <br />SURPLUS, AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE, SUBJECT TO RESERVATION <br />OF EASEMENT AND TO CERTAIN COVENANTS, WITHOUT PUBLIC <br />NOTICE OR BID <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No~ 6181, adopted January 5, 1970, <br /> <br />declared certain City-owned ~eal property hereinafter described <br /> <br />surplus, and authorized its sale, subject to the retention of <br /> <br />an' easement, without public notice or bid: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6182, adopted January 5, 1970, <br /> <br />approved and authorized the execution of a revocable permit <br /> <br />relating to installation, construction and maintenance of vehicular <br /> <br />driveway and/or parking lot surfaces on a City-owned easement, <br /> <br />a portion of said easement being that certain property described <br /> <br />in the aforesaid Resolution No. 6181: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the prospective purchaser of the real property <br /> <br />described in said Resolution No. 6181 and hereinafter described, <br /> <br />and likewise described in the revocable permit referred to in <br /> <br />the aforesaid Resolution No. 6182, proposes and desires to <br /> <br />purchase the said surplus real property without the requirement <br /> <br />of entering into the said revocable permit for the use thereof: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said proposed purchaser has agreed to purchase <br /> <br />said surplus real property by grant deed in the form of "Exhibit A" <br /> <br />hereof and attached hereto, which deed reserves an easement interest <br /> <br />to the city and contains certain covenants relating to the use of <br /> <br />the property conveyed to be made by the grantee thereof: and <br /> <br />:1 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner in fee~of <br /> <br />"!'.
