DES:yc:2/11/70 ORIGINAL FEB 16 70 RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. ~ Z'L1o RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF TEMPORARY LEVEE MAINTENANCE EASEMENTS-- GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 (MARLIN NO. 2 AND DOLPHIN NO. 1 SUBDIVISIONS) WHEREAS, Leslie Properties, Inc., as owner of those certain parcels of real property designated Parcel 1 and Parcel 2 in "Exhibit A" of that certain grant of temporary easements herein- after referred to, has constructed or caused to be constructed certain levee improvements in portions of Marlin~ subdivision No. 2 and Dolphin subdivision No. 1 within Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, to serve as interim levees or dikes; and WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity requires that the City of Redwood City and Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 maintain said interim levee or dike improve- ments; and WHEREAS, the aforesaid owner has delivered to the city of Redwood City that certain document entitled "Grant of Temporary Easements," dated January 28, 1970, and executed by the President and Vice-President of said owner conveying temporary easements for maintenance of interior levee or dike improvements in, over, and upon parcels of real property therein described, and providing for the termination thereof upon the completion of final improve- ments to the exterior levee system of Redwood peninsula adjacent to Steinberger Slough, in the City 'of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to approve said document and to authorize acceptance thereof; NOW, THEREFORE i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
