The County Poiice Chiefs and Sheriff <br /> Association has asked the County Red Light Users Group to examine the <br /> impfementation of consistent protocols for the cities with camera systems. <br /> No date has been given for#he group's recommendation. <br /> Finding#16 <br /> Not all cities are using warning signs at red light rnfersections as a tool to slow <br /> down drivers and thereby reduce the number of vehicle accidents. Appendix "A " <br /> contains a selection of pictures of the warning signs used by the cities. Some <br /> such as San Carlos are clearfy visible placed high and on the signal itself. 4thers <br /> such as those used in Menlo Park are in the far righf, some distance from the <br /> intersection and offen parfrally hidden by frees and other highway slgns. 1n Daly <br /> Cify there were no warnrng signs at the infersection of Junipero Serra and <br /> Washington. <br /> 7 <br />
