The Iocal cour�is no�receiving any <br /> addifional funding for this increased level of aetivity which requires adt�itronal <br /> staffing and resource commitmenf. <br /> Response <br /> The Ci�y is unable to agree or disagree with the finding. However, <br /> according to Grand Jury Finding #14, the County of San Mateo receives <br /> 23% ($1�3.78) of a red light violation fine. Using the number of red light <br /> citations the County adjudicated in 2008 and 2009 (noted in Grand Jury <br /> Finding #11}, the Caunty collected $ 1.7 mill�on doilars in 2008 and $3.2 <br /> million dollars in 2�09 for red light citations. <br /> 6 <br />
