This should include signage <br /> �r✓arning motor��fs tc come to a full sfop before turning r,�ght on a red light. , <br /> Response <br /> The City does not have signage at�ach intersectfon because it is not <br /> currently required by statute. <br /> 21455.5 (a) (1) of fihe California Vehicle Code states that the <br /> governmental agency may maintain an automated traffic enforcement <br /> system if it identifies the system by signs that clearly indicate the system's <br /> presence and are visibfe to traffic approaching from all directians, or posts <br /> signs afi all major entrances to the city, including, at a minimum, freeways, <br /> bridges, and sfiate highway routes. <br /> There are signs posted at all major entry points into Redwood City, <br /> including, at a minimum, freeways, bridges, and state highway routes (19 <br /> total). <br /> Recommendation #6 <br /> Working through fhe counfy Police Chiefs and Sheritf Assocration and/or fhe City <br /> Managers Associatlon, consider cen�rallzing the administrafive fasks of <br /> evaluating possible violafions anr�issuance of cltations. This would nof only <br /> achieve budgetary savings but woulc�a�so rnsure consistent and professiona! <br /> application of the protocols affecting San JVlafeo Drivers. <br /> Response <br /> The recommendation requires further analysis. The poiice department will <br /> discuss with o#her San Mateo County police departments with camera <br /> systems the fea�ibility of the recomm�ndation.
