<br />'. <br /> <br />~HT:em 12/5/69 <br /> <br />..' . <br /> <br />GRANT OF REVOCABLE ENCROACP~NT PEm~IT <br /> <br />2108 ROOSEVELT AVENUE <br />(westerly corner of Roosevelt and Upton) <br />Redwood City, California <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br />Council of the City of Redwood City, adopted <br /> <br />, 19_, <br /> <br />permission is hereby granted to SHELL OIL COMPANY (hereinafter <br /> <br />called "Permittee"), as agent for the owner of Lots 1 and 2, Block <br /> <br />9, as shown on that certain map entitled "Redwood ,Terrace No.4", <br /> <br />filed in the office of the County recorder of San Mateo County, <br /> <br />State of California, on November 2, 1950, in volume 32 of Maps <br /> <br />at pages 30 and 31, of official records, said real property being <br /> <br />adjacent to and abutting the real property permitted to be used <br /> <br />herein, and o\vned by the city of Redwood Ci ty (herei.nafter called <br /> <br />II Ci i.:y"), to use for landscaping purposes said city-owned real <br /> <br />property, to wit: That certain real property situate in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood city, County of San Mateo, State of California, more <br /> <br />particularly described in "Exhibit All attached hereto and by <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />This permit is granted subject to the following terms and <br /> <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. This permit is temporary in nature, does not constitute a <br /> <br />deed or gr.ant of easement, i.s not transferable or assignable, and <br /> <br />may be revoked without cause at any time at the will of the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, effective immediately upon giving notice <br /> <br />of such revocation to Permittee; said notice shall be effective <br /> <br />if delivered to the subject premises at 2108 Roosevelt Avenue. <br /> <br />2. Permittee shall install, construct and maintain the follow- <br /> <br />ing improvements upon the City-owned real property: <br />
