The said improvements shall be constructed in conformance <br /> <br />with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations, <br /> <br />and said construction shall be expressly subject to the approval of <br /> <br />city's Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />4. The construction and installation of said improvements <br /> <br />shall be at the sole cost and expense of Permittee and Permittee <br /> <br />shall maintain said in~rovements in a state of good repair and in <br /> <br />a neat and attractive condition, likewise at its own cost and expense. <br /> <br />s. Permittee shall,carefully install said improvements in <br /> <br />such manner as not to damage, interfere with, or obstruct the use <br /> <br />of city-owned real property. <br /> <br />Permittee acknowledges and agrees <br /> <br />that in the event the City of Redwood City, its agents, employees, <br /> <br />contractors, or subcontractors, remove, damage, destroy, or other- <br /> <br />wise alter the condition of the said improvements or any portion <br /> <br />thereof, in connection with its use of its property, Permittee <br /> <br />shall reconstruct, reinstall, and repair said improvements at its <br /> <br />own cost and expense upon request by-City to do so. <br /> <br />6. Permittee shall, upon receipt of notice to do so, and <br />within such time limits as may be fixed by said notice, alter, <br /> <br />remove, or relocate at the expense of Permittee 'the said improve- <br /> <br />ments or any portion thereof. <br /> <br />7. Permittee acknowledges and agrees that upon revocation <br /> <br />of this permit, Permittee shall, at its own cost and expense, re- <br /> <br />move all improvements described in paragraph 2 above, and restore <br /> <br />to as good as a condition as the property was prior to placement <br /> <br />of the improvements; however, city shall have the right to designate <br /> <br />which of said improvements (whether in their entirety or porti.ons <br /> <br />thereof) shall remain. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
