(Ol~4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1969-1970 DEWATERING <br />PROGRAM (WINTER MAINTENANCE), REDWOOD CITY GENERAL <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64: REJECTING ALL OTHER <br />BIDS RECEIVED: AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6147, the City Clerk <br /> <br />called for bids for the 1969...1970 Dewatering'- Prog.rq.m:.,(.Winter <br /> <br />Maintenance), Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BRAGATO PAVING CO., Belmont, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said Bragato Paving Co., to <br /> <br />waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned low bidder, <br /> <br />and to reject any and all other bids received for said work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bragato Paving Co., in the total amount of <br /> <br />Forty-five Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($45,920.00), more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />accepted proposal dated November 18, 1969, for the 1969-l970 <br />Dewatering Program (Winter Maintenance), Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64, in accordance with plans and <br /> <br />specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
