The said improvements shall be constructed in conform- <br /> <br /> <br />ance.with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, rules and <br /> <br /> <br />regulations, and said construction shall be expressly subject <br /> <br /> <br />to the approval .of city's Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />40 The construction and installation of said improvement.s <br /> <br /> <br />shall be at th~ sole cost and expense of Permittee and Permittee <br /> <br /> <br />shall maintain said improvements in a state of'good repair and <br /> <br /> <br />in a neat and attractive condition, likewise at its own cost <br /> <br /> <br />and expense. <br /> <br /> <br />S. Permittee shall carefully install said improvements in <br /> <br /> <br />such manner as not to damage, inte~fere with, or obstruct the <br /> <br /> <br />use of City owned real prop~rty.' Permittee acknowledges and <br /> <br /> <br />agrees that in the event the City of Redwood City, its agents, <br /> <br /> <br />employees, contractors, or subcontractors, remove, damage, <br /> <br /> <br />destroy or otherwise alter the condition of the said improvements <br /> <br /> <br />or any portion thereof, in connection with its use of its property. <br /> <br /> <br />Permittee shall reconstruct, reinstall, and repair said improve- <br /> <br /> <br />ments at its own cost and expense upon request by city to so do. <br /> <br /> <br />6. Permittee shall, upon receipt of notice to do so, and <br /> <br /> <br />within such time limit as may be fixed by said notice, alter, <br /> <br /> <br />remove or relocate at the expense of Permittee the said improve- <br /> <br /> <br />ments or any portion thereof. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
