I.I~ OCT 13 '69 '\ RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PRELIMINARILY DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST REQUIRES THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT IN A PORTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND CERTAIN ADJACENT PORTIONS OF UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF THE COUNTY OF SA,N MATEO; DESIGNATING SAID DISTRICT AS UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 69-li DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR EXCEPTIONS TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SAID DISTRICT; AND STATING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS BY PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE FORMATION OF THE DISTRICT WHEREAS~ Article 4 of Chapter II of the Code of the City of Redwood City provides for the establishment of underground utility districtsi and WHEREAS, facts have been.presented to this Council, and recommendations made, justifying the establishment of the herein- after described underground utility district; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the facts, recommendations and proposal, and has preliminarily determined that the public interest, necessity and convenience require the establishment of said underground utility district; NOW, THEREFORE i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. It is hereby preliminarily found and determined that the public interest, convenience ,and necessity require the establishment of the hereinafter described u~derground utility districti and it is hereby further preliminarily found and determined that each and.all of the following specific matters in furtherance of the general pub'lic interest exist with relation to the proposed underground utility district: (a) The undergrounding to be accomplished will avoid or eliminate an unusually heavy concentration of. overhead distribution facilities; (b) The streets, roads or rights of way in the district
