<br />1 ' <br /> <br />e.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />are extensively used by the general public and carry <br />a heavy volume. of pedestrian or vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />2. The purpose of said district is to require the removal <br /> <br />of poles, overhead wires and associated structures from any <br /> <br />public streets, alleys or ways within the district and require <br /> <br />the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying <br /> <br />electric, communication, or similar or associated service. <br /> <br />3. The district proposed to be established shall be <br /> <br />designated as "Underground Utility District No. 69-1." <br /> <br />4. The boundaries of the proposed district are set forth <br /> <br />and described in IIExhibit A, II attached hereto and incorporated <br /> <br />herein, entitled "Boundary Description - Woodside Road Under- <br /> <br />grounding utility District 69-1.11 Said boundaries are shown <br /> <br />on that certain map entitled "Boundary - Woodside Road Under- <br /> <br />ground utility District 69-1, II marked "Exhibit B, II attached <br /> <br />hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> <br />5. It is proposed that the fol1owing specific utility <br /> <br />facilities be located above ground within the district, and <br /> <br />constitute exceptions to the requirements of the district: <br /> <br />(a) ,Poles ~ overhead wires and associated overhead <br />structures used for the transmission of electric <br />energy of 60,000 volts and located in the vicinity <br />of the intersection of Valota Road with Woodside Road, <br />and at the intersection of Nimitz Avenue with woodside <br />Road. <br /> <br />(b) Poles, overhead wires and associated overhead <br />structures used for the transmission of electric <br />energy of 60,000 volts, parallel to, and along the <br />easterly line of, Woodside Road and between the <br />intersection of.Alameda de las pulgas with Woodside <br />Road and Churchill Avenue with Woodside Road, together <br />with such poles, wires and structures crossing said <br />woodside Road at the intersection thereof with said <br />Alameda de las pulgas. <br /> <br />(c) Poles, overhead wires and associated overhead <br />structures existing on the date of adoption of the <br />ordinance creating the proposed district and located <br />a distance of 50 feet or more, measured at right angles, <br />from the easterly or westerly boundaries, as the case <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />~-- <br />
