ORIGINAL RE~OLUT1.0N N O. /, 0 e 7 SEP3 'tS RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE PARKWAY BRIDGE FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND, DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6051, adopted July 28, 1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of a bridge for Bridge Parkway and all associated facilities and appurtenances required, for Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64: and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, LITON CONSTRUCTION CO., San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said contract to Liton Construction Co.; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of LITON CONSTRUCTION CO., in the total amount of One MilliQn Twenty-five Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-three and nO/100 Dollars ($1,025,993.00), more or less, computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal opened August 27, 1969, for Bid Schedule A and Alternate 1 of said proposal, and at the lump sums and unit prices therein bid, for construction of a bridge for Bridge Parkway and all associated facilities and appur- tenances required, for General Improvement District No. 1-64 in the City of Redwood City, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder.
