The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement, Redwood City General <br /> <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64, Bridge Parkway Bridge," by and <br /> <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Liton Construction Co., <br /> <br /> <br />for the performance of the aforesaid work in accordance with <br /> <br /> <br />and subject to the terms and conditions of the aforementioned <br /> <br /> <br />specifications and contract documents, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the <br /> <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Any informality in the aforementioned bid of Liton <br /> <br /> <br />Construction Co. is hereby waived. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />for the aforementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />return to the successful bidder upon execution of the contract <br /> <br /> <br />for the performance of the work, and to all unsuccessful bidders, <br /> <br /> <br />all security guaranteeing execution of the contract upon award. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
