<br />.. <br /> <br />DES.ek 8/26/69 <br /> <br />.-' - ., <br />c.l. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL' <br />$[pa~ <br /> <br />RE~OL!!T1.0N <br /> <br />N o. bollS- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CON1'RACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENTS FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />NO. 1-64, RELATING TO MARLIN SUBDIVISION NO.2: <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK: AND, <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6050, ~he City Clerk <br /> <br />.called for bids for the construction of certain public improve- <br /> <br />ments, including streets, water system facilities, sanitary <br /> <br />sewers and storm drainage facilities, and all associated <br /> <br />facilities and appurtenances required for Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64, relating to Marlin Subdivision <br /> <br />No.2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, H09D CORPORATION, San Jose, california, is the <br /> <br />. lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said contract to Hood corporation; . <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO;.'lS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of HOOD CORPORATION in the total amount of <br /> <br />Eight Hundred Eighty-five Thousand One Hundred Forty-three and <br />, 80/100 Dollars' ($885,143.80)., more or less, computed at; the <br /> <br />unit prices quoted in bidder's proposal under Schedule A- <br /> <br />Alternate, Schedule B, Schedule C, and Schedule D-Alternate, <br /> <br />opened August 19, 1969, for construction of public improvements <br /> <br />relating to Marlin Subdivision No.2, for General Improvement <br /> <br />District No. 1-64 in the City of Redwood city, in accordance with <br /> <br />the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2.
